I’m having a little watercolor show at Bacchus Wine Bar next Thursday, May 10th. The reception goes from 6PM- 10PM, and will be up until July. So if you’re in the neighborhood, stop on by to check out these painted, edible delights. Local. Gluten free. Zero peanut allergens.

Fat Angel – Food and Libation

A lot of places do sliders these days, but the ones at Fat Angel sure stand out from the crowd.  These little wonders come packed with caramelized onions, bacon, irish cheddar, and aioli. Don’t just fill up on their delicious beer—save some room for these little guys.

Nojo

Chicken breast skewer and spam rice ball from Nojo. These are just two items from an extensive menu, but more than enough for me. Ingredients come from local farms and ranches. Reservations for 6 or more only.  Really nice staff and great atmosphere, too.
